the gt3 with the silver and red stripes... i have made alle by myself with my own idea and own printed stickers...

the other are made with decals... its much easyer to work with decals... so i think q on will bring also some decals in the future in his shop... one important thin are two liquides that you will use for the decals: one called: micro set thats for setting the decals, and this liquide make the decals also smother... and after the finsh when all is fix on the car... and the car is dried... you use the second liquid called micro sol put this with a brush on the decals and go away with your fingers... the chemical reaction make the decals thiner and burns this things in the car... so you have a finish like pros do this... smile...

flat matt finish you make normaly with the special satin varnish... but ceap attention if you use acryl paint... you must use all parts on acryl... thats important... other questions???

since i have dnanos i restarted to paint with airbrush... and its more easy than with bigger equipment....

We are just all left speechless and jelalous..
Great job. Do u use these bodies for racing or it's just fOr display?
I made a gt3 rs, orange, which I posted on the old forum. I used for racing and it's now quite scratched and dented.what took the biggest beating was especially the home made rear wing which was breaking all the time so I had to just stop trying to have one. How do you make your wings? DO they survive a race??
Ah, another question. If u print your own decals, how do you print the white??? I print my own decals on transparent decal sheet and of course only dark colours work well, white doest exist at all, yellows are bad..

there are limited printers that can print white such as an alps printer. these are no longer made so coveted peices of equipment and are used often in custom decal places as they can print white.

When I first looked at this thread I missed the note that these are painted. I actually went looking for the Krimskoye livery you had there. It is very impressive. I am surely most of us would love to see some WIP pics on your next one.

Hi there ...

the decals are from: http://www.decals43.de... a professional page who only make special decals for the mini champ series... And fortunately the mini champs are the same scale as the dnano... so the decals go perfect on the dnanos...

if you wanna make own decals... have a look i have also not only clear foile... i have also white ones... to make the white decals... its clear that only very cher printers can printing white as color... so i take the cheaper version of white special foile.... i looking forward to make some 360 modenas with own decals but it neeeds much time...

the perfect bodys i take only as eye chatcher... i drive in the races as fighter, fair but hard... so i take only bodys who arent perfect for my skills... like the one porsche... with the silver and red strip... i have seen that only the realy fast bodys going fast to a bad optic... the original racing cars hold realy long the nice looking...

i have much pleasure on the krimskoye one it was a perfect paint and decal job... from the beginning to the end... so this one is a bischu... a loveley one... i dont race with this body... thats for sure...

the rear spoiler i have made with thin messing plates... and glue it with second glue... and thats work... i use thick second glue not thin...

the roe spoiler kit have also made the realy nice guy from http://www.decal43.de.... realy realy cheap... he make me some other brakeing parts for the alu optics... bigger braking discs... for the other cars with nice alu weels...

i will start with this project... some braking discs for the nice looking R8 later...

the most difficult part on the krimskoye layout was the line between the two colors... i have had to find the exactly line for the gold decal stripe for the finish line on this layout... the gold stripe is a decal on a decal sheat... and i must found a exactly line on the body to paint the colors in one time exactly...

i have made this one twice... the first try i clear and start at the beginning... it was difficult to find the right color and the right fluidable color to paint a clear ground without an orange skin...

Hi Q'on... hmmm... yes i desided to use the Xp Stickers... But now i prefer the decals... I still search some nutral brand decals... its difficult to find a nice optical design... unfortunately lot of the stickers are a little to big, to set it clear on a nice place on the bodys... the decals are lot thinner and with the set liquite, they goes exactly in every corner of the bodys...

Now i have found special airbrush colors... no its much easier to paint some design stripes without any color drops in the finish... unfortunately the shell bodys are cher and little quantity... to make some more hot bodys...

These 911s look great, you got totally addicted man, how many cars have you painted so far!!??
Your work is exceptional quality.
Any tips for painting? Type of paint, airbrush, masking of the small details suck as windows edges (I hate those).

Thumbs up!

Hi... i put the windows out of the bodys before i start painting... masking tape i use normal office stripes... thats the best result for clear lines... the much important part is. Use only special color for airbrush using because this colors are much thinner and go perfect and clear trough the airbrush pen...

i tryed to brushing with nomal painting color but with the airbrush you will have some big problems like i have had. buy airbrush colors... and than its easyer than with brushcolor canned... i take a german high quality product... one candle cost about 15USD! but the color make much much more fun than other ones!

Some more questions? Try it ... And if your phantasie are not sooo creative, search in the net some nice designs and copy these in thin...

hmmm a good question... i am a ferrari fan... the porsches i have made for a dnano shop... smile... as eyechatcher... and promo for our dnano gt3 cup....

now i made some 360 modenas... the nissans hmmm ... this brand i dont have any interests... i or wee in europe have more interests by brand with real mystics brand like ferrari or lamborghini or porsche... nissan is a little less mythos for us... or like the old traditional brand like aston martin from england... this are real interesting models... by the way... does you have some aston bodys? for a paintjob???

Hi there i have got some for the nissan fans... This was a horrible work, i had cleaned the body twice because the color was to thin... but fortunately the goal was yesterday... and now have a look at a car createt on my mind... only following the body lines and take two colors... and recycle some pictures of old decal sets... smile... and this is the result... have a look... And your feedback???? smile....
